A two bedroom, wheelchair accessible bungalow with two off-road parking spaces and a village green outside.
Driftwood is on the coast path which takes you north through Walcott and on to Bacton and Mundesley, and south you have a 20-minute cliff top walk to Happisburgh home of the famous Lighthouse an ancient Norfolk Chuch and good pub to visit.
Further down the coast, there is Sea Palling, Waxham and Horsey beach where the seal colony can be found.
In Walcott village, there are 2 more pubs, a village shop, cafe, and fish and chip shop all within easy walking distance.
Larger supermarkets are approx 5 miles away in Stalham and North Walsham, with Norwich city approx 17 miles away, with a park and ride facility at Sprowston.
Twelve miles to the north is the seaside town of Cromer, Great Yarmouth is approximately the same distance to the south.
The bungalow has a small sea view to the rear. There is a comfortable conservatory with patio doors that leading out to a slabbed, graveled and decked patio area, some of which is wheelchair accessible. A picnic table and gas barbecue are available to use.
Inside there is a good sized lounge with dining table, tv with free view, radio, and wi-fi. There is a well-appointed master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and the 2nd bedroom with triple bunks.
A fully equipped kitchen that includes, washing machine, microwave oven, iron and ironing board plus clothesline outside.
The bathroom is a newly installed full wet room which is wheelchair accessible.
The front of the property is wheelchair accessible as is the whole of the bungalow.
The beach is a 3-minute walk away with a ramp to the lower promenade and further ramp down to the beach. This part of the beach is quiet and dog-friendly all of the year round.
If you are looking for an unspoiled, quiet, friendly place on the Norfolk coast for a relaxing break, then Driftwood is the ideal place to stay.
Bed linen and house towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
Maximum occupancy five and up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
