Blakeney Point Seal Pup Guided Tour

Join our experienced coastal Ranger for a ferry boat trip out to see the ever expanding grey seal colony on Blakeney Point, land on the Point to enjoy a guided 2 mile (1 hour) tour around the picturesque landscape of sand dunes to see the colony and the Lifeboat house within the National Nature Reserve. Learn about the history, local wildlife and conservation activity.
Please prepare for all weather, and bring your camera and binoculars.
Children are welcome with an accompanying adult or guardian.
No dogs please, due to conservation area

Come to Brancaster Activity Centre for some pre-festive fun. Make some lovely edible gifts for your family and friends. We will make a stunning ginger bread house to be drawn for at the end of the day. Also cook and enjoy a seasonal buffet. Our head cook Amanda has been a professional cook for over 30 years, but with no formal training is flexible in her outlook to all foods and cooking. She always tries to use local and seasonal products.

Wildlife Walks for Photographers
6 December to 8 December 2013,
We will visit a variety of north Norfolk sites where there should be good chances of getting close to wildlife, enabling a variety of photographic techniques to be practised. Weather and tide permitting, one of the highlights will be to visit a Grey Seal colony to see their snowy white pups. After dinner the course tutor, Robin Chittenden, will demonstrate some of the useful functions of Photoshop software.

Christmas Treats Workshop

Come and join the staff of Oxburgh Hall in creating a number of edible treats. You will be welcomed with tea/coffee followed by a demonstration and workshop on making truffles, gingerbread biscuits and more. Lunch is provided followed by a tour of the Gardens and ending with the opportunity to visit the shop and take home the items you have made.
