This beautifully restored windmill sits on the edge of the village as you approach from the East. You can climb to the top, study the history and admire the views, they also have a souvenir shop.

The working lifeboat from the beach is manned by local volunteers.

The unusual war memorial a tribute to the many bomb disposal teams that operated along this coastline.

Cafes, boutique shops, hotels and the traditional post office.

There is also a butcher that offers local game and a deli. A fish stall selling the catch of the day, crabs and lobsters landed on the beach from small inshore boats.

You can order and collect on the day you would like to eat, try a local medley ‘fruit de mer’
Today was a fabulous day to see the village wearing its finest colours, spring flowers, well maintained public spaces, Norfolk at its best!
